GATHER

Enjoy a bonfire next to the lake and watch the sunset. Supplies to start a fire are located in the main commons on the 3rd floor. Firewood is on the rack outside on the patio.

TIPPING

We strive to have an exceptionally clean accomodations and our amazing housekeeping staff always appreciate a token of your gratitude. $5 a day is customary.

BLUE WAVE INN MERCH

You’ll find Blue Wave Inn mugs, t-shirts and sweatshirts are available for purchase at The Sandbar. It’s hard to take home our amazing sunsets, but you can take a momento from your trip with Blue Wave in merchandise.

LOCAL ADVENTURES

Enjoy our lakefront trail on an e-bike or cruiser bike rental. Rent a kayak or paddleboard and use during your stay. Winter rentals include cross country skis and snowshoes. Reserve at Solstice Outdoors or call 715.682.3590.

OUR ARESTIAN WELL

The Blue Wave Inn has natural flowing spring water right on our property outside of The Sandbar. Be sure to try the crisp, fresh water that flows naturally and continuously from an artesian auquifer deep below the ground. Didn’t bring a water bottle. Stop in to the shop or the Sandbar to purchase one.

We use our natural spring water in the cafe to make cold brew coffee, to lemonade at the Sandbar. It is packed with minerals and vitamins, so it is especially good to sip on throughout the hot summer days. Enjoy what nature has to offer here on the shores of Lake Superior.
